The studio was located 10 minutes from downtown LA on East Olympic Blvd. It was a busy street and we had high windows on the street side of the building that we kept closed to keep the dirt and noise out of the studio. We opened up the back of the studio to let in the air and light which was located off the alley and created a garden. We stripped floors to bare concrete, restored windows and painted everything white with black trim. Accents of red were added on the fire system located near the entry door. The space was efficient and inspiring.
